Our Mission is to promote a better understanding and appreciation of the natural history and natural environment of the Seney National Wildlife Refuge, by working in cooperation with refuge staff to support its mission.
For the last three decades, the Friends of Seney National Wildlife Refuge has provided financial and volunteer support for a multitude of activities and projects on the refuge, including Children’s Fishing Day, Youth in the Outdoors and annual photo contests. The Friends also sponsor internships and provide educational materials and equipment to enhance the visitor experience. Funds to support these activities come from our generous members and profits from nature store sales.
Friends of Seney National Wildlife Refuge is a 501(c)3 organization. We are incorporated
as a membership organization in Michigan.
